On July 19th Rock Ministry was invited to participate in an outreach in the projects of Harlem. We took 25 of our core group of kids and put on a boxing exhibition. We came alongside many Calvary Chapels around the country and ministered to the folks in Harlem. |

Manny Folly wins the Pa State Golden Gloves title! Walter (boo) Holmes wins the Silver. We are extremely proud of our guys who have represented Rock Ministry throughout the 2008 Golden Gloves tournament in a honorable way. Please continue to pray for all our kids who will be entering the Junior Olympics on May 3rd. |

Both Manny and Walter advanced to the Penna. State Golden Gloves Championships by winning Friday night at Allentown in spectacular fashion. Manny and Walter are one fight away from becoming the first State Champs coming out of Rock Ministry. Please keep our guys in prayer over the next 2 weeks. They will be fighting for the championship in Wilkes Barre. |

We have 2 more Philadelphia Golden Gloves Champions. Emmanuel Folly and Walter Holmes both won titles last night. They both move on up to Allentown Pa for the Regional Championships. Current IBF Cruiserweight champion of the World, Steve Cunningham came to the fight to support our kids. |
