From Breakfast to a Men's Ministry?

On Tuesday morning, a few of the men who serve at Rock Ministries got together for a casual breakfast planned at the last minute. What we thought would be some scrambled eggs and a little conversation turned out to be a genuinely anointed blessing. Pastor Buddy led some spontaneous devotions in Proverbs which spoke deeply to each of us. We had a rich time of prayer and the presence of the Spirit was obvious. And breakfast was great as well!
These Rock servants plan to continue to meet on Tuesday mornings with the eventual goal of beginning an open men’s breakfast at some point. Pray for the Lord’s will and timing, as we believe the Rock’s first formal men’s ministry will be born out of this. Kensington is in desperate need of strong, godly men to represent Christ in the inner city. May He raise up a ministry to accomplish just that!
