On May 3, 2012 we celebrated the National Day of Prayer with our first prayer meeting/bible study at “The Lost Coin”! The power of God’s Holy Spirit was ever-present and all who attended experienced something that was special and memorable. This building was previously being used as a house of ill repute, with people living without running water, heat or electricity, and sold out to the drug culture of Kensington.
This drug-infested house was a place to buy crack, heroin or zanies and was overrun with lost souls killing themselves with the devil’s poison. But today, the Lord turned this stronghold of hopelessness into a house of prayer. Praise God for His mercy! Folks came in and received a message of hope.
Please pray for us as we seek to do God’s will in ministering to “whosoever” at The Lost Coin. God has placed a burden on our hearts in this troubled area of our city for the lost. Pray also for laborers, and the much needed materials to finish the 2nd and 3rd phase of this amazing God inspired project.
